Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium through Special Needs Committee has organized a pilot sensitization on Collaborative Learning and Disability Inclusion in college, university and research libraries in Kenya. The three days workshop will be held at JKUAT NCBD Campus Library located at the JKUAT PLAZA (formerly ICEA Building. Kenyatta Avenue, Nairobi.
The main objective of the workshop is to create awareness on various disabilities, existing instruments (laws, policies and regulations), psychosocial aspects of disability and disability etiquette for ease of implementing disability mainstreaming. (more…)Continue reading
